Why We Ask for a Contribution

The APE is an independent parent association. We work closely with the school, but we are not funded by it. All events are financed by families and made possible thanks to many hours of volunteer work from dedicated parents.

A single annual contribution allows us to plan confidently for the whole year, avoid repeated fundraising, and ensure fairness for all families.

Why a forfait?

Because the APE does not receive financial support from the school, we rely on contributions from families to maintain the events, services and sense of community that make NDL so special. The forfait is simple, equitable and transparent: one contribution per family, supporting all activities for all children. It reduces the need for repeated collections and allows volunteers to focus on delivering great experiences rather than organising multiple fundraisers.

Impact & Responsible Management

In 2024–25, thanks to careful planning and strong volunteer involvement:

Total spending was reduced from CHF 96,000 to CHF 67,000 (–30%).

The End-of-Year Celebration cost fell from CHF 60,000 to CHF 47,500.

We continued to prioritise joyful experiences and community spirit.

We optimise every franc and seek sponsorships and in-kind support wherever possible.
