How much does it cost to do the EOY party?

In 2023 it cost APENDL approx. CHF60k for the party. NDL spent an extra CHF40k on the party. The combined expenditure by both APENDL and NDL for the EOY 2023 party was CHF100k.

Why does it cost so much?

A large cost is food and drink. The next big cost is the rental of all the equipment needed to host the event – renting the tent, hospitality staff, stage rental, sound and lighting, tables and chairs, sun parasols. The school does not own this material and they need to rent it each year.

Is there a more economical way to do the EOY party?

Most certainly! APENDL is open to hearing parents suggestions and ideas! This valuable feedback needs to be shared with the school.
