AID APPEAL FOR UKRAINE
Dear families,
In response to the events unfolding in Ukraine, we wanted to come together as a school community and collectively help those affected. APENDL is supporting the following organisations. Please help in any way you can.
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)
APENDL will be making a collective donation to the ICRC, which is an independent, impartial and neutral organisation ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of armed conflict. Its headquarters are in Geneva and it has launched a specific appeal for the crisis in Ukraine. If you would like to contribute to this effort, you can send your donation to APENDL via the following QR code or bank transfer. We will keep the collection open until March 14th.

St Clotilde’s Catholic Church, Geneva
If you would prefer to make a physical donation, APENDL is also supporting St Clotilde’s Church in Geneva. They are sending a convoy to the region loaded with emergency supplies every Friday. They are asking for medical supplies, personal hygiene and survival kits (see below list for full details). All donations can be left outside the School Office.

Host a refugee in your home
If you wish to help offer housing/temporary shelter for Ukrainian refugees, you can register with the Swiss charity, Campax.
